Indian high commission fiji scholarship
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India, is offering twenty (20) Scholarships for nationals of Fiji and four (4) for nationals of Tuvalu under Atal Bihari Vakpayee Scholarship Scheme (Formally General Scholarship Scheme) for every academic session. The scholarship covers courses from Undergraduate to Postgraduate to Ph.D. levels in all streams except Medicine.
The courses include (BA, BSc, B.Com, BE), postgraduate (MA, MSc, M Com, MBA, ME) & Research Studies in renowned Indian Universities. These include Accounting, Agricultural Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Humanities, Hindi, Indian Classical Music and Dance, Information Technology, Languages, Mass Communication (Journalism), Painting, Science, Social Science etc. Ayurveda and Yoga are also covered.
The scheme has been administered by ICCR with the support of High Commission of India and Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre.
The scholarship covers return international airfare by economy class, tuition fees and living allowances.
The council has developed a scholarship portal named A2A (Admission 2 Alumni). The portal consists of all relevant information available for student abroad including names and details of all State and central Universities and Instituites, college affiliated with them information like availability of hostels, academic courses, guidelines, eleigibility criteria, etc.., Portal link: http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in/
Ayush Scholarships for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha and Homeopathy under the Ayush Scholarship offered to Non-Bay of Bengal initiative for Multi Sectorial Technical and Economic Cooperation (NON-BIMSTEC) Member Countries. Tuition fees, living allowance, hostel or house rent allowance would be covered under the Ayush Scholarship Scheme. Candidates will have to appear for personal interview.

Indian high commission fiji vacancies
Officials in Government, Public and Private Sectors, Universities, Chambers of Commerce and Industry etc.. Candidates should have adequate work experience. Female participants are advised to abstain from joining training Courses if they are pregnant prior to their departure for India.
Eligibility criteria
- Academic qualifications as laid down by the Institute for the course concerned.
- Working knowledge of English is required to follow the course.
- Age between 25 to 45 years.
- Medically fit to undertake the training.
Procedure

Applicants are required to submit the prescribed ITEC/SCAAP form to the designated Government Department in the candidate’s country. The form is available here. Candidates are required to fill in the Application Form carefully and not leave any column incomplete/blank or furnish incorrect information. The undertaking by the candidate and the certification from employer (Part-II of the Application Form) are mandatory.
- The designated Department is required to forward the application to the Embassy of India. Applications should reach the Embassy of India at least 3 months before the commencement of the course.
- Decision regarding acceptance of applications/nominations rests solely with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
- Upon selection, the Embassy of India will inform the nodal/designated Department of the nominating country and the candidate.
- Participants are required to obtain the contact number of the course coordinator and the Institute from the Indian Embassy. Selected candidates are required to familiarize themselves fully with the living conditions in India and about the Institute through the Institute’s website. They must familiarize themselves with the weather conditions and the type of clothes to be carried to India.
