Consular Fees With Effect From 1.4.2010

S/No Services Fees to be charged w.e.f 1st April 2010 F$
1. Attestation of affidavits / documents pertaining to sale, purchase, power of attorney, mortgage, transfer, gift, etc., of real estate or moveable properties or issue of a document by a consular officer pertaining to such matters. 60.00
2. Where a consular officer draws up or assists in drawing up any document mentioned in 1 above. 115.00
3. Attestation of civil documents (educational degree, sponsorship certificate, marriage certificates, wills etc).

4. Where a consular officer draw up or assists in the drawing up of any document mentioned in 3 above. 60.00
5. Attestation of trade / commercial documents or issue of any certificate ‘country of origin’ pertaining to exports from foreign country to India. 145.00
6. Attestation of trade / commercial documents or issue of any certificate pertaining to exports from India to a foreign country. 60.00
7. A consular officer solemnizing a marriage, registration of a marriage certificate and a certified copy of the entry (all) 145.00
8. Attestation of documents pertaining to sale, purchase, mortgage, transfer of vessels or transfer of one’s interest in merchant vessel. 715.00
9. Attestation of other documents pertaining to ship / vessels for issue of a certificate or verification or acceptance of a document or taking any action as per chapter IX of the consular manual on ‘Merchant Shipping’ 145.00
10. Attestation of documents of issue of certificates to a sailor as per chapter IX of consular manual on ‘Merchant Shipping’ 35.00
Miscellaneous services
11. For administration or distribution, or both of the property situated in country, of the consular officer’s residence, of an Indian citizen or any other person, not being a seaman, dying intestate, or if not intestate, when undertaking in the absence of legally competent representative of the deceased in country of his death or a request of a legal heir of deceased living in India as the case may be 715.00 Or 2.5 percent of the value of property whichever is on the higher side
12. If such property is in country of concurrent Accreditation of a consular officer 2905.00 Or 2.5 percent of the value of property whichever is on the higher side
13. Issue of succession certificate as laid down in consular manual 2.5 percent of value of the property / estate.
14. Service requiring visit of a consular officer on request of an applicant away from chancery Officer’s travelling allowance & DA plus 290.00 for each visit plus consular fee for the service required.
15. Attestation of pension paper, life certificate pertaining to pensioners Gratis
16. For affixing consular officer’s signature and seal, if required for declaration of pay or pension Gratis
17. Other miscellaneous attestations, issue of civil certificate, notarial services as per consular manual, not falling within any of the above categories, registration of birth and a certified copy of the entry 60.00
18. When consular officer draws up or assists in drawing up of any documents pertaining to services mentioned at items 17 above 115.00
19. Registration of death and a certified copy of the entry with the provision that HoM may waive these charges at his discretion. 60.00
20. Cancellation of Indian passport of an Indian who dies abroad.
21. Equivalence certificate 225.00
